Why VESL Paddle Boards?
Sure, there are lots of great paddle board brands out there. But, there’s only one VESL. And, only one Portsmouth Paddle Co.
4 reasons why we LOVE vesl paddle boards
1. We’re partners
We carry VESL paddle boards, because we are VESL paddle boards. VESL is a small, family-owned business (like us) based in Costa Mesa, California. And, we’ve been bi-coastal partners for the last decade, working together to refine and perfect our product based on years of real feedback gathered from our customers and crew. Each board length and shape has been specifically designed for optimal performance, balancing lightweight construction with durability, stability and comfort. The result? Stand-up paddle boards that are as beautiful as they are user-friendly.
2. Exceptional craftsmanship
Each board is not just a paddle board, but a beautifully designed, high-performance work of art. We know every detail about our boards, and we’re confident in delivering happy paddlers. From our lightweight construction and premium deck pads (with extra cushion), to our ergonomic butterfly handle and front deck net, VESL boards are designed with the paddler in mind. Not only are our boards are comfortable and stable to ride, but also easy to lift and transport (which is half the battle!).
3. TRUSTWORTHY QUALITY
As a smaller brand, we produce our boards in small batches. In fact, we receive shipments of only 140 boards at a time. This allows us to pay close attention to the pre- and post-production process and make sure each board is crafted to the highest standards. When our boards arrive at our shop, we unbox and inspect each one before they hit the sales floor. This safeguards against selling boards with manufacturer defects! And leaves us confident you’re buying a product designed to last for years to come.
4. Local flavors
Because of our unique partnership with VESL, we have the creative license to design our own colorways that you’ll only find at Portsmouth Paddle Co.! Our new 2024 All-Around Collection reflects all-new colors designed in Portsmouth NH by the PPC Crew. We love the creative process involved in designing and naming new board colors. And this year’s Modern Collection pays tribute to a variety of local landmarks right here on the NH Seacoast.
What’s not to love?
