Here's your opportunity to improve your paddle skills and learn essential safety and rescue skills!

Learn SUP technique & rescue!

Whether you're brand new or a seasoned paddler, this workshop is designed to improve your paddle boarding skills!

You'll learn how to paddle responsibly and safely, Including SUP Rescue and towing techniques. Essential skills whether you're flying solo or paddling with others!

You will learn and practice :

  • Board "anatomy" and how to correctly prepare your SUP and safety gear before use

  • How to safely launch and return to shore

  • Paddle strokes to improve your paddling efficiency and to use in various situations

  • Reading tide-charts and determining water-depth and optimal times to paddle

  • SUP etiquette and nautical laws 

  • How to navigate local wind / water / and weather conditions

  • How to rescue and tow both a conscious and an unconscious paddler

This workshop is as FUN as it is informative. Trust us! It's the same course our team of Guides completes at the start of each season, and we all have a BLAST together. We hope you join the fun!

Prior paddle boarding experience is recommended but not required!

Requirements

• All participants must know how to swim
• Minors 16 - 18 must weigh at least 80lbs, have a signed Parent/Guardian waiver, and be accompanied by an adult chaperone
